Lucknow Cantt is one of the Assembly seats of Lucknow district in Uttar Pradesh. The Lucknow Cantt Assembly seat is a part of the Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency. It is considered to be a safe seat for the Bharatiya Janata Party. Suresh Chandra Tiwari is the sitting MLA from the Lucknow Cantt seat. However, the BJP has decided to field Brajesh Pathak this time from the seat. BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi represented the seat in the past. The Lucknow Cantt Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for SCs or STs. The voting is scheduled in the fourth phase i.e. on February 23, 2022.
