ગઈ કાલથી ધરતીના સ્વર્ગ જમ્મુ-કશ્મીરમાં ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ 2023નો પ્રારંભ થઈ રહ્યો છે. ઓપનિંગ સેરેમનીમાં રમતગમત મંત્રી અનુરાગ ઠાકુર હાજર રહ્યાં હતા.
ભારત સરકાર રમતગમત ક્ષેત્રે ભારતના દબદબો વધારવા માટે છેલ્લા ઘણા સમયથી મહેનત કરી રહી છે. યુવા ખેલાડીઓને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે જિલ્લા સ્તરથી લઈને રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તર સુધી ભારત સરકાર નવી નવી ટુર્નામેન્ટ યોજી રહી છે. હાલમાં ગુજરાતના પડોશી રાજ્ય મધ્યપ્રદેશમાં ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા યુથ ગેમ્સ રમાઈ રહી છે. ગઈ કાલથી ધરતીના સ્વર્ગ જમ્મુ-કશ્મીરમાં ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ 2023નો પ્રારંભ થઈ રહ્યો છે. ઓપનિંગ સેરેમનીમાં રમતગમત મંત્રી અનુરાગ ઠાકુર હાજર રહ્યાં હતા.
ભારતના યુવા અને રમતગમત મંત્રાયલ, જમ્મુ-કશ્મીર રમતગમત સમિતિ અને જમ્મુ-કશ્મીર વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ અસોશિયેશન દ્વારા આ ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ 2023નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા વિન્ટર ગેમ્સની ત્રીજી સિઝન હશે. વર્ષ 2020માં પ્રથમ સિઝન ગુલમર્ગ અને વર્ષ 2021માં બીજી સિઝન લેહમાં રમાઈ હતી.

હાલમાં જ રમતગમત મંત્રાયલ દ્વારા ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ 2023નો શુભકંર, જર્સી અને સોન્ગ લોન્ચ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ 2023માં 29 રાજ્ય તથા કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશના 1,500 ખેલાડીઓ વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ રમશે. આ ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં 9 જેટલી વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ રમાશે. 10થી 14 ફેબ્રુઆરી વચ્ચે આ ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા વિન્ટર ગેમ્સ 2023 રમાશે.
આજે થશે ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા યુથ ગેમ્સનું સમાપન
ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા યુથ ગેમ્સ 2022 મધ્યપ્રદેશમાં 30 જાન્યુઆરીથી 11 ફેબ્રુઆરી સુધી વિવિધ શહેરોમાં ચાલી રહ્યું છે. આજે 11 ફેબ્રુઆરીના રોજ ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા યુથ ગેમ્સનું સમાપ્ન થશે. હાલમાં ગુજરાત 20 મેડલ સાથે મેડલ ટેલીમાં 15માં ક્રમે પહોંચ્યું છે.ખેલો ઈન્ડિયા સ્પર્ધામાં કુલ 27 રમતોનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. ખાસ વાત એ છે કે આ સ્પર્ધામાં પાંચ સ્વદેશી રમતો મલખમ, થનગાટા, ગતકા, યોગાસન અને કલારીપયટ્ટુનો પણ સમાવેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
