An alert was sounded in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon after school-going children spotted five suspicious-looking men near a naval base in Uran in Navi Mumbai.
Police said they have closed down the schools and are conducting searches as the nature of information was sensitive.The presence of the naval base in Uran – 50 kilometre from Mumbai triggered concerns of a repeat of Sunday’s militant attack on an army base in Kashmir’s Uri town.
