Patidars have announced they will flood the Khandheri stadium with 18,000 spectators for the October 18 India-South Africa ODI. A flash protest at the stadium would get global audiences because of the live telecast. The Patidars’ threat comes at a time when the spectre of a two-year ban looms over Odisha Cricket Association’s Cuttack stadium where spectators hurled bottles on the ground during the second T20 match on Monday. The stadium has capacity of around 27,000 spectators. Online booking has started and around 1,900 tickets have been sold.
