Ahmedabad: A lot of untreated sewage water is dumped in Sabarmati which is constantly polluting the river. After Tv9 showed the condition, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has now decided to divert the water. The untreated water will be diverted through a pipeline from Ranip to Akhbarnagar. Corporation claims that this arrangement will be temporary as Rs 109 cr ‘Jal Vihar Yojana’ will soon be implemented to treat sewage water.
