The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Gujarat detained Abid Patel, brother of Javed Dawood Shaikh alias Chikna an accused in the Mumbai serial blasts, along with an accomplice Salim Ganchi, from the Indo-Nepal border late on Wednesday afternoon. Abid is wanted in the Bharuch double-murder case in which BJP leaders Sirish Bengali and Pragnesh Mistry were shot dead on November 2. Salim, a resident of Mumbai, had supplied arms for the murder.
